SurveyWiki is using concepts of <code>User groups</code>, <code>User rights</code> and <code>Namespaces</code> to organise its content, actions possible to perform by user and access to the pages in opened and closed namespaces.

== SurveyWiki Namespaces ==

SurveyWiki pages are organised in a few namespaces. Pages in other namespace than <code>Main</code> have in their address pattern similar to this page <code>Help:SurveyWiki_Structure</code>(namespace is <code>Help</code> and page title is <code>SurveyWiki_Structure</code> separated by colon <code>:</code>).This fact can be useful especially when creating new page to see if it is in correct namespace. See [[Help:Page_create_and_edit|Page_create_and_edit]] for more details.
Pages in <code>Main</code> namespace does not have <code>Main:Main_Page</code> pattern. In their address is simply <code>Main_Page</code>.


Important namespaces in SurveyWiki are:
* <code>Main</code> - for content pages. This namespace is for survey related topics (equipment and software setup, bugs workaround, solved problems description, etc.).In context of SurveyWiki it is opened content namespace which can be read by everyone and edited by every logged in user.

* <code>Prysmian</code> - namespace for topics related to Prysmian's projects like geodesy parameters or TSS scaleing factor. This namespace is closed and can be read and edited by users in <code>Prysmian user</code> or <code>Administrators</code> groups.
* <code>Admin</code> - also close group for SurveyWiki admin related topics. It can be read and edit by users in <code>Adminisrators</code> group.
