SurveyWiki is using concepts of <code>User groups</code>, <code>User rights</code> and <code>Namespaces</code> to organise its content, actions possible to perform by user and access to the pages in opened and closed namespaces.

== SurveyWiki Namespaces ==

== User groups ==

MediaWiki comes with eight <code>User groups</code> by default but in SurveyWiki only a few of them are currently in use together with one additional group.

The most important default groups being used are:
* <code>*</code> - everyone including not logged in. They can read open part of SurveyWiki but can't edit it.
* <code>Users</code> - logged in users with the right to read and edit open part of SurveyWiki.
* <code>Administrators</code> - users with right to perform certain admin actions. They can also read and edit close part of SurveyWiki.
* <code>Bureaucrats </code> - users with right to assign or revoke other users to or from the group.
The other default groups being in use are: <code>Autoconfirmed users</code> and <code>Interface administrators</code>.

There is also custom user group <code>Prysmian user</code> - with the right to read and edit pages in <code>Prysmian</code> namespace.
